Yet another new year

The start of another year . Got up this morning at 5.30, thought it was 6.30, must be my eyesight failing after looking at my watch. After limbering up, go through to the kitchen to make the usual cup of tea. Then slide open the balcony door to get a few lungfulls of fresh clean air before it comes contaminated with petrol and deisel fumes, thats better.
So what are the prospects for the coming year? not very good I think. First thing to hit will be when the bills come in for all the money that's been spent in the sales using the plastic because it is so easy to use plastic instead of money that most of them haven't got, when will they learn. I'm off to get a shower and then cook something for breakfast and hope something good will happen.
Breakfast over, the sun has come up, hardly any wind, the sea is calm, looks like it's going to be a pleasant day,
hope it stays that way for the next 364 days, yes that is too much to hope for.
